Status Update of the Email Migration: Good news! All Cabrillo accounts have been migrated over to the Gmail
system, however old email messages are still in process of being transferred over. Status of the migration of old email messages 8/30/2017 @ 8:30 am,

process of moving into accounts 0 accounts are waiting to be processed Reminders: - Previous methods of accessing your email may not work.
- For Example:
- Thunderbird, Mac Mail, Outlook, and other additional mail apps will no longer function.
- You can access your email from any browser on any device by going to mail.cabrillo.edu
- For mobile devices, you can use a web browser or the Gmail App to access your mail.
- Some old emails maybe still in the process of migrating. This may take up to a few days as are migrating all of the campus emails. Do not worry - your emails are not lost.
Things to know - No more small email quotas!
- You can now send and receive emails from your new Google mailbox.
- Your email address has not changed
- Your alias(es) have not changed
- Your password has not changed
- Your email registrations with other systems have not changed
- Your list serves have been recreated in Google groups
- IT will be reaching out to list serve owners to ensure your groups are created and functioning properly
- If your list is not functioning, please contact IT
- Your emails that were on the Cabrillo server are being automatically migrated over to your new Google mailbox
- If you were not able to migrate your local folders before the cutoff, please contact IT.
- If you need assistance please contact IT via email or at 477-5282.
- Access to mail.cabrillo.edu has not changed, it will take you to your new Google mailbox
- You have 2 options to access your Cabrillo mail on your mobile device
- Option 1 - use a web browser and go to mail.cabrillo.edu
- Option 2 - use the GMAIL app, you can not simply add a mail account.
- Device must meet the following standards
- Device must have a screen lock when unattended
- Device must be encrypted
Cabrillo IT will not ask for your username or password during the migration
