Adding Additional Emails to Thunderbird

To add another email account to your Thunderbird
  1. Open your desktop Thunderbird.
  2. Click the "Tools" button on the top bar of Thunderbird.
  3. Click the "Account Actions" button in the bottom of the "Tools" dropdown menu
  4. Click "Add Mail Account"
  5. Enter appropriate information into Name, Email Address and Password dialogue boxes
  6. Click "Continue"
  7. Check the "IMAP (remote folders)" button
  8. Click "Done"
To remove an account from your Thunderbird
  1. Open your desktop Thunderbird.
  2. Click the "Tools" button on the top bar of Thunderbird.
  3. Highlight the account name you wish to delete.
  4. Click "Remove Account"
  5. Click "Yes" when Thunderbird asks if you're sure you want to delete the account.
