About Cabrillo College form mail
Cabrillo has three different ways to create a web form that visitors can fill out and that allow you to collect their submissions as an email, spreadsheet row, or both.
- Google Forms is the easiest and most capable way of doing this. It lets you avoid HTML, SFTP and other acronyms and adds submissions to an online spreadsheet that is easy to share. For most applications, this is your prime choice. Simply follow the instructions in the Google tutorial linked above.
- Simple (Revised) mail form requires you to add an HTML form to a web page and requires some HTML coding experience. It sends you the submission in an email.
- Note: IT is discouraging anyone from continuing to use these "Simple forms"
- Enhanced ("Brian's") mail form works the same as the Simple one, but also adds form data to a text file that you can periodically retrieve using SFTP.
- Note: IT is discouraging anyone from continuing to use these "Simple forms"
